Diabetic Sufferers

While managing your sugar levels is becoming easier and more accurate with new technologies, the risk of a diabetic emergency, still remains and the initial actions, usually provided by non-paramedics can be critical.

For someone without diabetes they will often feel helpless as to how they can help.

Wearing the SOS Talisman can contain all the information about your condition and the immediate action which someone needs to take could literally be life saving. 

Like many people with diabetes, particularly those who use insulin, I carry a medical ID with me at all times securely contained inside my SOS Talisman.

I want to make sure that if I suffer a severe hypoglycemic episode, had a bicycle accident, or any other type of emergency, then all of my critical health status information including alerting emergency staff that I have diabetes is all immediately available.

Emergency medical personnel are in fact trained to look for any type of medical ID, especially Talismen when they are attending someone who, for whatever reason, can’t speak for themselves.
